Policies

Information and special rules on specific parts of the house are written below, so you can easily understand where things are located and how to use them safely. The following areas of the house are private and locked, please do not attempt to open them: • Pantry closet located near utility room The house uses a very sophisticated water filtration system that stores water in holding tanks. Please be sure to not run the water unnecessarily or take long showers to avoid running out of water. We recommend bringing your own bottles of water for drinking purposes. • There may be some canned goods and other imperishable foods in the kitchen pantry which you are free to use as you wish. Always check the expiration date before eating anything. We always make sure not to leave expired food in the house, but oversights may happen. We believe in the “Leave what you can, take what you need” idea. • There are designated trash disposal areas. Please refrain from throwing any trash, such as bottle caps or cigarette butts on the property. • When you leave, please put the garbage in the bin located near the entrance of the private road (across from the gazebo). • Never leave children unsupervised at our property without any adults, especially near the lake. • Please make sure pool table and foosball table are put back the way you found them, and all pieces go back to the correct spot. • Please do not move the furniture. • Please be sure to ventilate the kitchen while cooking anything that could leave a strong smell behind. The stove uses propane which burns different than gas and tends to lead to burnt food. We recommend putting the stove on medium and not high. • Be careful not to wash food remains down the drain. Please throw any kitchen scraps into the garbage cans. Be sure to wipe any grease from the pans to prevent it from going down the drain. • To help the environment, please only switch on the dishwasher when it’s full and use the eco-program where possible. • To simplify the inventory process, please return any kitchen items back to where you originally found them. • Please do not overload the washer/dryer. • Please set all baseboard heat to 50 during the winter and make sure that all mini split units are turned off before leaving. • DO NOT turn on cooling mode (AC) on the LG mini split units during the cold months. This will cause issues with the units. • Please make sure you switch off lights, fans or any other small electrical appliances when you go out. The same applies to air-conditioning and heating – we’re an eco-friendly home! • In the unlikely case of a power outage, the house has a generator that will start automatically. • No compensation will be given for any temporary outage of electricity, gas, water, cable, or telephone service. • Please dispose of garbage in the proper containers throughout the house. • Please do not flush any sanitary products down the toilet. We provide a bin for this in each bathroom. • No bathroom towels are to be removed from the house. Please do not use these towels at the lake. • BBQ is located on the deck of the house. • Please clean the BBQ with the provided cleaning tool when done. Be sure to cover the grill with the provided cover once the grill has cooled down. • Pets are allowed if registered at the time of booking. Pets must be picked up after outside and they are not allowed on furniture or beds. • Smoking/vaping is not permitted inside the house. • Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly (i.e. in ashtray provided) and not thrown on property grounds. Failure to do so will result in a deduction from the security deposit. • Fireworks and firearms are not permitted on the property. • Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. • Firewood is provided, please make sure to cover the wood pile and secure the cover when you leave. • Please only park in the driveway and not on the grass. • Please be mindful of your neighbors. In case of any disputes or neighbor complaints, it’s your duty to notify us as soon as reasonably practicable. Outdoor quiet times are from 10pm – 8am. Please refrain from any loud outdoor noise, music, etc. during these times. ** Please remember that you are in the country, so you may come across the occasional bug (fly's, bee's, lady beetles, etc.), inside and outside of the home. ** Lake Rules: • Swim at your own risk. • Be sure to swim with a partner. • All children should be supervised. • Towels are not provided for use at the lake. Please bring your own. • Fishing is permitted, but the lake has a catch and release policy. • The gazebo area, including it’s kayaks and water trampoline belong to another owner and are not allowed to be used. • No motorized boats, jet skis, etc. permitted on the lake. • Please be mindful of others that may be using the lake. • Please return kayaks, pedal boat, life jacket’s, etc. to where you found them. • Do not walk on the lake if it is frozen. Checkout Instructions: • Please leave the house in the same condition you found it • Please place all used towels in the laundry area • Turn off all lights, small appliances, fans, fireplaces, etc. • Lower baseboard heat to 50° in winter. • Close all windows • Please take all trash with you down the driveway and dispose of it in the large garbage bin located near the entrance of the private road (across from the gazebo). • Lock door when departing Before You Leave Please take a few moments to double-check the house for any personal belongings—especially in drawers, closets, and under beds. We are not responsible for lost guest belongings however, if any items are left behind and we find them, if you'd like them returned, we’re happy to help. Please note there will be a $50 handling fee plus the cost of shipping. Breach of any of these house rules is a breach of the terms and conditions of occupancy, as per the rental agreement you have signed. We reserve the right to evict any guests or visitors from the property who refuse to follow these house rules. In any case, please use common sense while staying in our house. If you’re unsure about any of the house rules and require further clarification, please give us a call. We encourage you to follow us online at @noboundaries_est and tag us in any photos or videos.

This place is amazing. We have our yearly event with a group of friends and this place checks out everything we needed. Spacious area, open deck, wide field with a huge fire pit and a lake and view within walking distance. We definitely enjoyed our stay here!
