Policies
1. Smoking is allowed outside only off the porch (wind blows the smoke right back in the house) and butts should be disposed of properly. 2. People other than those in the guest party may not stay overnight on the property. 3. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. 4. The homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. 5. Please take your shoes off upon entering the house and leave wet items (skis, boots) outside. 6. Keep the property and all furnishings in good order. Do Not move any furniture and if you do, return it before you leave. 7. Only use appliances for their intended uses. 8. Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included with the cabin, we suggest you bring your own beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the cabin. A fee will be charged for any missing linens. 9. Wood burning stove: Please operate properly. NEVER USE LIGHTER FLUID!! Make sure the flu is open before starting the fire and make sure it is closed when you check-out. Once fire is going please put the shield back in front of the fireplace. We ask that you do not remove the ashes. The cleaning staff will take care of it. If you are staying for an extended period, you may clean out the ashes. Ash can should have the lid on it and set in the driveway away from the cabin. CHECKOUT LIST We hope you have had a great time and will come back to visit us again soon. Before you leave there’s just a few things to do. A cleaning service with trash removal is included in your rental rate; however, we would appreciate you leaving the house in a tidy state prior to departure. Therefore, prior to your departure, please complete the following checklist. Interior: □ Return all books and games to original locations □ Make sure all kitchen appliances are switched off (i.e. stove) □ Turn off all lights in all rooms □ Remove sheets from used beds and put in 1 pile by washer. Leave comforters and pillows on the bed. Please don’t put them on the floor. □ Place used towels in a pile on bathroom floor □ Remove food from fridge and freezer. It should be empty when you leave. □ Wash and put away all dishes. □ Ensure you have packed all of your belongings phone/iPad/laptop/ chargers etc. □ Place garbage in the garbage can outside. Garbage and recyclables should be sorted in separate bags tied and put in the one trash can outside when you leave. Our cleaner takes the garbage so please be mindful in the amount of garbage you leave.REFER TO HOUSE RULES FOR SPECIFICS! □ Set thermostat to 60°F in the winter months on the heater in the bedroom (up and down arrows adjusts the temp) □ Close and lock all windows and doors Exterior: □ Ensure gas to BBQ grill is set to OFF position and the propane tank is turned off. Put cover back on grill. □ Fire pit is completely out □ Dispose of all cigarette butts, bottle tops and litter from around the property Before You Leave Please take a few moments to double-check the house for any personal belongings—especially in drawers, closets, and under beds. If any items are left behind and you'd like them returned, we’re happy to help. Please note there will be a $50 handling fee plus the cost of shipping. Thank you for staying with us, and safe travels!

Very cozy little cabin in a good spot in the Catskills. Basically down the street (rt 28) from anything you’d need or want to get to. We took a long weekend here to just escape and relax and it was perfect. Property is easy to find and feels very private. Check in is super easy and the hosts are quick to respond to any questions.

Great stay, perfect escape from the city. Quiet property with a beautiful view of belleayre mountain. The fireplace made it feel even more cozy. Wish I could have stayed longer!
