Escape to Serenity: 18-Acre Catskill Retreat

House is exactly as described - an escape to serenity! The house both indoors and outdoors was clean, well kept and absolutely stunning. Kim responded right away to all our inquiries and are stay was smooth and enjoyable in every way. Can't wait to come back!

House is nice, beautiful view, hot tub awesome and easy to use. Town is run down, quite a few businesses closed. Only 1 towel and washcloth per person. Only 1 bathroom hand towel per bathroom, no extra besides the hot tub towels, so you will be doing laundry often. Cleaning staff not doing top notch job- pans with egg, other pan crusty. I had to move furniture a little and was dusty, also vacuum doesn’t work properly. No spray to clean the counters. 3 large trash bags not enough for 7 people for 4 nights. Had to buy trash bags and paper towel. 3 bathrooms but 2 showers. The game room is cool but don’t love going up and down the basement stairs. Also wish the streaming services were logged into for TV- You have to enter your own. Only 2 bedrooms have TVs. Two smaller rooms no TV. Trip was great, spent most of the time at the house spending time together. WiFi is good- bc they are not lying- there is legitimately no cell service- which was also great bc we couldn’t be bothered. If you’re looking to spend time at the house and the scenery this is definitely a good choice. Also Private! Property manager very responsive. Note that the little pond is up a very steep hill, so if there are elderly or injured guests- that may not be for you. Food store and CVS only 20 min away. beautiful DEER everywhere. No lights on roads at night. So plan accordingly.

This home is beautiful, clean and modern amenity. The property is tranquil and quiet. Loved the hot tub and the natural spring pond. My advice for renters is to make sure you have the door code written down and not only in the app. There is no cell service in the area, you can’t access your app.

We had a wonderful getaway to unplug and visit with friends for a local wedding. Great property and host was great!
